This is a two stage online MBA where you first complete the London Examinations Board Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (“PGDBA”) followed by a dissertation, consultancy project or work based learning project
This qualification helps you to develop a strategic, integrated and holistic perspective of organisations. You will enrol directly with the University for the dissertation, consultancy project or work based learning project, and this flexibility will mean that you can tailor your learning to suit your needs
Course Outcomes
This MBA is designed to help you meet the challenges facing management in the global business environment. It will develop your critical and strategic thinking and equip you with the necessary tools for solving problems.
You will develop the analytical and research skills needed to make logical arguments and creative contributions to improve business and management practice. The MBA is structured to provide a strategic perspective on business and management and it is also designed to help you establish some autonomy over the content of your degree.
Course Structure
Stage 1

On completion of the PGDBA graduates undertake a short online research methodology module before moving to stage 2
Stage 2
The dissertation, consultancy project or work based learning project with Buckinghamshire New University
You will use a range of quantitative and qualitative methods for providing information and evaluating options in a business environment
You will need to demonstrate an in-depth critical understanding of your chosen aspect of business or management and your problem solving and decision making techniques
The project options included will be ideal if you are already working in an organisation, whether as an employee, volunteer or intern, as your project choice will be based on a real work-based tasks
Assessments
The PGDBA is assessed through coursework, assignments and work based reports
The research methodology module requires you to provide a research proposal to obtain a certificate of completion
The dissertation, consultancy project or work based learning project is assessed by the University
